Alonzo Ruiz is a native to the Bay Area, born and raised in Hayward, CA. He graduated from San Francisco State University in 2011 where he earned his BA in Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography.

Alonzo began his career frequently photographing concerts, which lead to working with local musicians to photograph album artwork and promos. During college he dove deeper into his creative side and created a variety of photo series that ranged from childhood memories to environmental issues. His work has been published on Transfer Magazine, FRONT Magazine, and Holloway Magazine.

He now resides in San Francisco and is currently working in the fashion industry.
